Hi. I was thinking, if you are feeding pellets free-choice, your bunny might snub the hay for them. Mine did, and I started feeding her the pellets once a day. The hay is more important. If this isn’t the case with your bunny, then it could be that the hay you’ve got just isn’t palatable enough, and she’ll like the orchard grass or something else better. To use up the hay you’ve already got, maybe you could try adding some flower petals or herbs to it. Chamomile, rose petals, and lavender are okay. Oxbow also sells a botanical hay intended for mixing with other hays to stimulate your bunny’s appetite. You’d probably want to use small quantities of anything like that, though. They’re meant just to entice the bunny, I think. Also, my bunny does not like her hay rack. She will do all kinds of heavy lifting, but she won’t work for her hay!
