Ok, alot of people have been asking for picture of my new bunnies, and here they are. The Gray one (no name yet, any suggestions?) Is mine and the black one (cookie) is my sisters. I am pretty much taking care of them both at the moment because she has a broken arm but it doesnt bother me at all. They are both netherland dwarfs. The gray one, is really calm and has already let me hold her without trying to squirm away. We havent had that much luck with the black one, but i have only had her a day….. Ok well enough talk here are the pics. (they might be big, i’m not really sure how to get the pics on here…….)

Awww cute   Are they going to live together even once her arm heals?  Sincethey’re bonded I would think they wouldn’t like to be separated.

The black one looks just like my Tucker

Yay! Finally they home Kaitlyn. They look sweet! Cookie does look like a mini Tucker! Have you got some names your thinking of for your little grey one? I thought she looked like a Lily but I think I got that from the *ily* in your display name. LOL
They are a pair of sisters aren’t they?

oh my gosh- they are both cute- but the grey is STUNNING!  What a lucky pair of rabbits to have such a concerned owner (and co-owner/sisters bun) that you take the time and effort to post on BinkyBunny.com.

I was also wondering what brand of hay you guys give your bunny. I bought….i think it is called oxbow, or something like that, is that a good brand?

Congratulations! They are ADORABLE!!! Oxbow has a good reputation, but it tends to be REALLY expensive in pet stores… I tend to go to feed stores because you get more hay for less money, and you know it hasn’t been sitting around on the shelf for 6 months…

I’m sorry, I may have forgotten…how old are they? If they adult and bonded, I hope you’ll keep them together! My Lizzy used to be bonded with her sister at the rescue, though, and when they went through puberty, they tried to KILL each other, and had to be separated. The rescue could have gone to the effort to try to re-bond them, but since single-buns are easier to get adopted than pairs, they left them in hutches next door to each other…steadfastly hating one another! Just a warning…it seems like all bets are off once puberty hits!

AWWW they are too cute for words!! And Oxbow is the best brand (hehe in my opinion and I think lots of other people on here too!) of hay for your bun, they have great healthy products!

actually there is a little petstore near my house, that sells big bags of oxbow for $3.99……thats why we bought it because it didnt cost much

Ooo, wow! That’s awesome! What a great deal! (I get a full trashbag-size flake of feedstore hay for $3–unless I splurge and get Bunny Blend for $11 at the rescue–but a little 24oz bag of Oxbow is $8 at the petstore…thus my choice!)

Along the cloud theme you could name her Nimbus, that’s latin for Raincloud. Maybe it’s too Harry Potter-ish? I thought of Ash names too like Angelina. Ashley, Ashla etc. Perhaps once you see a bit of her personality coming out a name will present itself. Maybe you’ve already named her by now!

Actually I have named her…thanks for the suggestions everyone, and Jerseygirl already mentioned her name. I named her Ashley because she reminded of the color of ashes, i know its not very creative, but i think it fits…
