LOL, he is adorable, even scruffy. He looks like a tribble.

He is so cute – he looks like a Powder Puff.

Squeegy  just popped to mind. Or Milkweed, like the white fluffy things that fly around in the summer carrying seeds.

Is there anything I can do to get rid of his spots where he has licked? It makes him look really splotchy in photos.

Well – grooming long haired bunnies is a big commitment, since they often get matted in their undercoat.  Regular grooming should help with the splotchiness some.  He’ll need you to groom him fairly often.

here’s some helpful articles on  grooming  long haired bunnies with photos

As soon as I read Casper I liked it for him.
Casper was a big white puff with a sweet face, too.

The name “milly pup” came to mind.  I doubt I spelled it correctly at all…but it is the grain (i.e. like foo foo or injera bread) that is served w/ food in S. Africa.  African foods are generally eaten w/ fingers/hands.  So when the various entrees (meat or veggies) are served they are served w/ a grain type item so you can scoop the food up w/o dirtying or burning your fingers.  In S. Africa its a cornmeal like grainy grits texture.  He just looks like a Milly pup to me.  He also looks like a pomeranian dog.  Sooooo cute!

I like Rosco too, its cute, but I really do think Cooper is fitting him, so thats his name.

                                  I have a question though…….

I put a thick blanket on my bed last night so he could run around and get to know me (of course all he did was crawl up me the whole time, which made me feel good that hes that comfortable already). LoL

Well anyway, I look over and see a huge wet spot. Do you think this was pee or did he mark? I never had a boy, so I dont know what “marking” looks like. Then he wouldnt stop licking it. Ewwwwwww!!!!! Why do you think he was doing this and what was it?

Also, he dug the spot first before he did it. Why do buns like to dig like that?

Isn’t peeing and marking the same?  Its my understanding that the only difference is the intent.  Marking is more about putting their scent on something whereas pee is about….oops gotta go!

The biggest male issue I’ve had w/ pee is spraying.  My boys had a tendency to overshoot in the litterbox and pee would end up on the wall or baseboards.  Trigger used to spray everywhere in his classroom.  Once he marked/sprayed on our other class rabbit.  She was a little white bunny turned yellow.
