  Hey Y’all,
  
  I want to thank every one at this site for ansering all of my questions and being supportive.
  
  I have been working with the Colorado House Rabbit Society to addopt my first pair of rabbits. Rachel has been really great!
  
  This weekend Kaye & Winston will be coming to live with us!
  
  Kay is a sweet white bun with cute grey eye liner. She is about 4 years old. Winston is totaly dapper in his waist coat and “mask”. He is 2 years. They both weigh in at about 4 1/2 pounds. (I think I attached a photo – we will see!)
  
  I am going to be building a temporary NIC pen for them untill I get to know them a little. Then they will be getting a very stylie pem made of Wood, Metal and NIC. (My husband and I have ben building metal and wood furniture.) I have gotten great ideas from y’all for Kaye & Winstons home. When it is done I will post photos.
  
  My husband & I are really looking forward to living with rabbits. I’m sure I will continue posting all sorts of questions as they arise! As well as keeping y’all updated to our fabulious success .

  YAY!!!!! they are gorgeous. is Kaye a mini rex? her fur looks like rex. obviously, Winston is a dutch and a handsome one at that! i can’t wait to hear more about them and see pics of them enjoying your home.

  Winston is total Dutch.
  Kay is not a Rex. I don’t know what she is. But, she does look a little “Goth” with the gray eyeliner!
  
  BTW – Winston instantly sat on my husbands lap and started purring – How awesome is that!

  Hey KokaneeandKahlua – I just looked up Dwarf Hotot and she sure does look like one! I will ask at the shelter if they know.
  
  Knowltons4 – the shelter paired them up about 6 or so months ago – the are very happy together!
