  I just discovered that Vicky is what’s called a “chinchilla” dutch rabbit because of her fur!

  Totally! At first I thought that both those pictures were of her and thought “That IS a chinchilla…” lol

  My Hannah is a sable chinchilla color – it’s a little more brown/beige than the standard chinchilla color. I love the different bands of color on the fur.

  Oh she is beautiful! I thought Rosy was a chinchila for a while, but the chinchilas are more gray and she’s more brown. She still has all the bands of color in her fur which makes her an agouti. Does Vicky have a white tummy or is she all the same color?

  Rose is very pretty! Her body shape does look very slim and elegant like a wild rabbit.
  
  Her color would be considered chestnut – it’s the basic brown agouti shade, while chinchilla is the basic grey agouti shade (and then there are a lot of other more confusing agouti colors)
