My Buns Hated Halloween

I think Lizzy’s psychic.  She can tell when I’m going to do something she’s going to hate.  Like take her to the vet, or shove her in the carrier and take her to bunny-boarding, or try to dress her up like a princess.  I don’t even give her any warning…she just knows.  And she glowers under her hutch, and refuses to come out, and glares at me.  Robbie, oblivious, blunders about as usual, though!

I opened the pen for the buns to have playtime on Halloween, and they refused to come out.  Just refused.  But the second I ran out of candy for trick-or-treaters, out they came!  The sillies…I don’t know how they know these things.

Robbie ran out to play immediately, Lizzy took one hop out, took one look at me, and went back home.  Still convinced I was up to no good.  Suspicious bunny.

My boyfriend is no good with my camera.  And the bunnies were having none of it.  Especially Lizzy.  She would not sit still or stop leaping at me to “save” her…

Sigh.  I was warned it was a bad idea.  But here’s the few pictures I got.

((The blood loss actually wasn’t from this incident. Lizzy bites me when I brush her and Robbie scratches my skin off when I try to trance him. Ah, the violence….Happy Halloween!))
