  Well this is my bunny, yet to be named. His foster mom tells me that he is a holland lop. He was almost killed by the breeder because his ears don’t lop. He’s been really great. He came home on sunday morning, and while he won’t let me pic him up yet or anything he comes running to me sometimes when I come into the room so we are making progress. He is so cute! I’ve noticed that he is prtective of his food, I didn’t know bunny’s were ever like that. But when I give him pellets in the morning he picks the bowl up in his mouth and shakes it around before dragging it to the back corner to eat it far away from me, lol.   he looks seriuos hehe. cotton does that i give him a lettuce or soemthing while I am eating and he takes it runs off somewhere to eat it. ahahaa they are so funny aren’t they.

  He turns a year old in July. I actually tried posting more pics but for some reason it didn’t work…. maybe I’ll try again.

  Awwww, he looks very adorable! Maybe with time, he will trust you enough so he won’t drag his food dish around to protect it from you. It sounds very funny the way you described it! I could totally picture it.

  Oh, he’s so pretty. His ears definitely don’t lop though – he has beautiful uppity ears.

  When Kay finds something “really yummy” in their dinner salad – she takes it and runs away to finish it. But, I think she is running from Winston – since they do occasionally steel food from each other.
  
  I can’t imagine killing an animal because the ears are not just right. So glad y’all found each other. He is a cute one.

  He didn’t look like a holland lop to me at first either but I think it’s just because his ears stand up. They do seem to try to flop though, one of them was half lopped the other day, then it popped back up so maybe he is just having a real big delay in the whole lopping part? Who knows, but he’s so cute! When my cat comes into his room he chases her then as he turns around kicks his feet out all silly like, it’s so cute.

  some buns can really configure their ears however they want to… he might be one of those. that’s silly! i also love his coloring.
