My rabbit has recently gone through a behavior change and I’m not sure if it is temporary or I need to get it checked out. She used to be quite lively and a little skittish and didn’t always like being pet. Now she rarely moves and when she does she walks and does not hop! This concerns me the most. She still eats and drinks fine as well as goes to the bathroom regularly. Most of the time she just lays in one spot for a long time. I’m not really sure what to do!

Is your rabbit getting older? She might be slowing down a little bit. Is she limping? She might have hurt her hind legs. If she seems in pain or is favoring one of her lags, I would suggest taking her to the vet. She could also just be getting chiller, especially if she just got spayed. (Fixed animals are calmer,)

She doesn’t seem to be favoring any one leg. Also I’m not sure how old she is I got her from a family who didn’t want her anymore and I don’t think they knew much about rabbits unfortunately. We have had her for a while and she wasn’t a baby when we got her. I’ll continue keeping an eye on her to see if she is in pain.

Ah poor thing! Luckily she still eats.

Maybe she has pain in her back or joints (rheumatoid/osteo arthritis). It does seem to be some sort of pain to me at least. I would take her to the vet.
