My lop is borderline obsessed with me and I’m not sure what to do… I’m new to here but have had R’lyeh for a little over a year but whenever I’ve had a bunny question I’ve found helpful information here so maybe you guys could point me in the right direction. I absolutely love him but sometimes it’s a bit too much. He follows me around like a puppy, if I move he moves. If I’m busy He circles me or jumps up on me and around me. He constantly wants me to pet him, I do but if I stop for less than a minute he’ll thump his foot or nibble at me (OUCH!). Occasionally he’ll make a grunt/growl before hand to let me know I’m not giving him enough attention. When I’m giving him the attention he wants he’s the sweetest, cuddliest little guy ever licking me or purring but it never seems to be enough! He isn’t like this with the kids or my bf… Is it him being obsessive like “you’re my human”? We haven’t gotten him fixed, could it be because I’m the only mature female in the house? Has anyone else had this problem? Please advise.

He could be courting you. My bunny Bam got obsessed with my GSD dog. He wouldn’t leave her alone. He pursued her, circled her and nipped her. He also poop- and pee-marked her spot on the sofa. Poor dog, she’s a kind soul but I could see she was bothered. She’d yelp when he nipped her, but when she tried to up and leave, he just followed her =( I had him neutered and his obsession was gone within 2 weeks. He never humped, but it had all the other hallmarks of bunny infatuation.

Yes, that sounds similar to what other users describe when their rabbits begin courting.

To be fair, it has nothing to do with you being female or an adult Simply, youre his favorite person which usually means you care for him the best out of everyone in the house Fixing him will limit this behavior.
