I was brushing away some of the shedding fur from my bunny & when I finished , I started to wipe the stay fur off of the couch & started “digging” kind of like my bun would so I got all the fur off & he became feisty , jumped at me , & wagged his tail & when I stopped , he just flopped over to lie down ,, what could this mean ??

One of my bunnies started doing something similar not too long ago. It caught be by surprise the first time it happened that’s for sure. I’m not sure if there are other causes but from the research I have done it appears that the reason this may be happening is because they may be interpreting this as something threatening just simply by the movement of our hands. I’ll also be curious to see if others have any other ideas. In the mean time I’ve learned to not use my hands in a sweeping motion to pick up fur or hay when he’s around.

It closely resembles a bunny boxing, which is an aggressive behavior. So he could be interpreting it as an aggressive action towards him.
