Hi, i have Holland dwarf rabbit, 6 months. My bunny used to lick me a lot, it doesn’t lick anymore. I dont understand why. Sometimes it licks to taste. But then it stops right away. Doesnt my bunny love me anymore? Or is this situation hormonal?

That is an age where hormonal changes do occur, so it’s possible it’s behavioral. That being said, adult rabbits can absolutely love their owners, but not lick them— licking is just one way of expressing love, and not all rabbits opt to do it that way. It can be very natural for them to lick other rabbits, but us humans can be confusing, with our skin and clothes, so if there is no more licking, I would not take it too personally!

You may observe other behavior changes with puberty. Do you have plans to have your rabbit spayed/neutered, if they are not already?
