My rabbit will not quit humping my arm!

Every time I reach into her home she grunts/buzzes and puts her paws on my arm and licks and licks me… She is really obsessed with the crook of my elbow. If I leave my arm in her cage too long she will mount and hump me. I just want to let and love her and she just wants to hump me. She is under a year old and not spayed. Any tips or tricks to cut this behavior?

Get her spayed. This would be the first step to take. Females are territorial over their areas. You putting your arm in is entering her territory and she is displaying dominance

I think the only solution is to get her spayed. You can’t really teach bunnies to stop hormonal behavior, unfortunately. Spaying is in the best interest for a female bunnies health as well. Reproductive cancers are very high in unspayed buns.

I expected to see that answer! I was just curious if anyone had any other tips for me. I love her but it’s quite annoying, unfortunately. I should mention that she only does it to me and not anyone else in the house.

I’m going to look into having her spayed, but I’m not sure how fast I can put that plan into action as I work full time. I have been reading about numerous health benefits and I’d like to have it done. So begins the process of finding a reputable vet close by hopefully.

Check the House Rabbit Society’s list of rabbit-experienced vets, that will be a good starting point. If you have a rabbit rescue in your area, contact them also and ask for recommendations.
