  HELP! My sweet adorable lil terror is up to no good. He is litter trained and does wonderfully in that. He has his rugs and his room with his litter box of hay and his cardboard house and tower. He isn’t a fan of chew toys, Ive learned he prefers my carpet, couch, baseboards and now my brand new washer! My older washer and dryer he hopped on top and chewed on the knobs when I was in the hospital having my baby. Well my washer clunked and I just bought a brand new front loader and he chewed the bottom rubber area cause you have to leave it open to air out. I may have to relocate his litter box and hang out spot but his room is his safe area, but unfortunately that’s where my laundry room is. Any tips on how you control your buns chewing needs? Im so sad I have to get my couches slipcovered cause he just goes to town on the cushions. I had to get my carpet repaired on the corners he went and chewed on. Its so frustrating and EXPENSIVE!

  The best thing you can do is manage their environment so they can’t get into as much stuff. I love the C&C grids (the kind people use to build cages) for blocking off different areas, and mine are never allowed free range unless we can supervise.

  I feel so badly for you! I’ll have to share this with my hubby because he thinks MY bun is destructive. Unfortunately you do have to do like the others have said. Found my bun in the front loader one day and my husband immediately told me to check that rubber. He hadn’t gotten to it, but he does like rubber things, wallpaper and moulding. Good to let them run but not if that’s the end result. Hope you find a way to corral him. That’s one adorable bunny

  Block off problem areas, create bunny proofed play areas and watch like a hawk for escape routes you didn’t know existed. Eventually, you can make your stuff safe. lol

  Thank you everyone! Yes, his cuteness keeps him around haha. He is one naughty spoiled bun. I decided to gate off the washer and dryer I’m just searching for one large enough to block that area. His room is as bunny proofed and friendly as it could get but he gets bored easily I’m guessing, that’s when he goes into destruction mode.
