Hello! Recently my sweet girl has gotten reclusive and takes a while to leave her cage for play time, is there a reason for this? It happened not long after i got her spayed and introduced a companion who is super hyper and not fearful at all. im guessing she is about 3 years old but im not sure, when she was younger she always came up to us and wanted attention. Should i take her to the vet?? What kind of tests should i ask for?

She could be upset by the new bun addition. Did you go through the proper bonding process? If not the new bun could potentially be bullying her and she could becoming withdrawn because of it.
It could also be that she’s just getting older and has mellowed out, which does happen.
