I will add more later, but today my beautiful, feisty, brave little feisty chocolate agouti girl seized and died. I wasn’t with her at the hospital when she died and I doubt I will forgive myself. She was my best friend for 7 years and she was my baby.

I’m so terribly sorry to hear this, Fluffy Bunny. You fought so bravely for her.

You mustn’t blame yourself for not being with her, you provided her with the best care a bun can get.

She had a necropsy done at no cost due to how sudden her death was. It turns out she had metastatic cancer that formed very quickly (she had a clean physical exam two months ago) and likely spread into her brain. So that is what actually caused her symptoms, not e. Cuniculi.

Fluffy Bunny, as dreadful as that is, it’s good you got to find out. There wouldn’t have been anything more anyone could have done for your sweet girl.

Fluffy Bunny, I’m so sorry. You went through so much with Ms. Rabbit- I know how sad it is when after everything, they can’t be saved. I lost a bunny to cancer too- it wasn’t discovered until they did a CT scan to prepare for a lipoma surgery. There is really no way we can know about something like that, and nothing we can do about it even if we knew. There is never enough time with our bunnies- they take up such a huge part of our hearts and lives, and leave such a void. But you did everything you possibly could have done for Ms. Rabbit, including taking her for a checkup two months earlier. You took wonderful care of her and I know she had a great life with you. I try to focus on that when I lose a bunny, but I know it’s hard because our minds just want to replay everything. What if and why… it just adds to the sorrow.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

That’s horrible, I’m so sorry for your loss I hope that the results of the necropsy will help you to deal with your grief. There was nothing you could have done, this cancer was terribly agressive if it spread so quickly. Wishing you all the best in these difficult times.

I’m very sorry to hear about Ms. Rabbit. I know how painful it can be. I wasn’t present when my Cupcake past away. But knowing I was there for him in his life is consoling for me. I’m sure you were too, and I hope you
find consolation as well for Ms. Rabbit knew she was truly loved.

                        FB, Im so very sorry.
It was good of them to do a necropsy for you. I think it will help at least stop those questions that come after you lose a fur baby.

She was very loved, by you and her husbun Mr Rabbit. How is he doing??

I’m so very sorry for the loss of your friend. Big Hugs and Love being sent your way.

It’s always hard to say goodbye but a sudden goodbye without warning is probably the hardest.
