          Hi angelina,

2 hours is not a very long time.  I usually start to get concerned if my bunnies don’t eat for more than 2 hours, but pooping can come in cycles that may last a few hours.  If he is eating and behaving normally, that is a good sign.  The things to look for that might indicate trouble with his intestines are hunching or flopping in strange positions, grinding of the teeth, losing interest in food and not eating or drinking at all.  He should produce poops at least every 6 – 12 hours, so continue to watch him and I suspect that he’ll be fine.

Just watch him carefully, sometimes when i let my buns out they wont poop for an hour or so, too busy running round each other and stuff so give it a few more hours and shut your dog into another room to be sure he isnt eating them all (this is really common for a dog to do!) and keep us posted

so i think i have figured out the poopy cycle!

he goes first thing in the am.  tons and then holds it all day long then in the evening he starts pooping again.  this am he only had a handfull of poopies in his cage but when i let him out of his cage boy did he have a blast leaving bunny puffs around!

he pees in his litter box but i cant get him to poopy in there.  he is not fixed and is getting fixed on the 30th so i will work on the poop piles then.

              thanks all for the help.

I swear they hold them in all day until they find a nice place to mark.  Our foster bunny Cali did this yesterday.  I cleaned her litter box at about 1 PM.  When she is in her pen, she is perfect with using the litterbox, so I was a little concerned at about 8 PM when I let her out and saw that her litterbox had not been used.  As soon as she got out for run around time, she left a huge pile in the box, and about 15 cocoa puffs around her running area.  I think she had been saving them all afternoon.
