Is it actual mold, or dust from the carefresh? I know with my carefresh sometimes it looks like there is mold, but it is actually dust from it sticking to everything.

It is odd that mold would form after only 2 days. Hmm…

thats whats boggling my mind too.do you think the heat has anything to do with it?should i take him to the vet to make sure he didnt ingest any of the mold?

I would not worry. It could just be discoloration of the litter from urine and feces.

As for mold, if that’s even what it is, they grow at different rates depending on mold types and conditions. Some start to germinate in about 12 hours so 2 days, very likely (if that’s even what it is).

Damp and wetness are causes of mold, not heat.

my rabbit had mold on his poop. does it look furry? his was getting mold bc it had a lot of moisture. he has coccidia and drinks lots of water and has bigger than normal poop. he is the only one of my 5 rabbits that has this happening with his poop. maybe u can get a sample checked out by the vet.
