  Okay, so I finally make the commitment and buy 3 sets of cubes.
  
  I build two separate condos for Odie and Scooter.
  
  First day Scooter jumps right over the top. Okay. Reduced by one section so that I can put roof on. Just enough grids.
  
  Next day Im crabby cuz Scooty has worked loudly at every inch of house ALL nite long but didnt escape.
  
  Check on Odie…He has (quietly) worked his whole condo two feet away from where I built it!
  
  GRRR!! How do you keep them held down ? This is carpet with a waterproof tablecloth laid underneath.
  
  What did I do wrong?

  I’m having a hard time picturing what you built. Do you have photos? Sounds like you made the pens with a top? One way way to prevent it from moving is to build in a floor with grids and then cover the grids with a whatever you had planned on using as flooring.

  Sounds like what I have for my Bella at the moment, my boyfriend likes to work out so we have weights around the house, i put a 10 pound dumbell on both sides of her cage setup so she cant move it. Try some kind of heavy objects.

  Sounds like what my two are in. But its 4×3 so they cant move it, plus its wedged in between my bed and the wall so that also prevents them from moving it lol. I would do what BB said and put a floor on it, it will be impossible to move then. Just make sure they have plenty of soft flooring stuff so their feet dont get sore.

  Sorry – but I had to have a giggle about Odie moving house! Another quick (maybe temporary) way to weight it down is poke a broom handle thru so it goes along the floor from one side to the other and put something heavy on the ends that are on the outside of the pen.
