The one about strange things in the sky. Anyway, was just reading your last reply while having morning coffee at computer desk.

Suddenly, PLOP! The lovely citrine crystal pointer I have sitting on my top desk shelf dropped directly into my half full coffee cup!

Keyboard, mouse, desktop, me, printer, BB calendar  – all got splashed.

(I was just going to comment on you’re being a double Virgo, as I am a quadruple Scorpio. Probably irrelevant.) This was not unlike your hubby being “pushed” into snow banks. My next thought though, was that I have to tell you that Citrine is a gem reputed to have “cheer me up” properties. So I guess your little Alaskan spirits are visiting me to make you laugh! (Must go shower now. Can I borrow your keyboard vac?) Sammy was sitting on her shelf just staring. *Mum, you dope. The vibration caused the citrine to gradually bounce to the edge until it fell. Humans are so dumb.*

ROFL…Geeze Pam, I scrolled down about ten posts and I can see my other one right there on the front page…lolz. Lazy thing. ^_^

No, it wasn’t angels or aliens…the citrine plopping in your coffee was the result of the wonderfully happy vibes coming from me for having found my new bunny vet this morning. We got a swab of Mimzy’s nose and she’ll let me know if four days or so what’s up with him. She strikes me as just this side of fabulous right now; LOVELY woman, younger than my other vet and SO GENTLE with the bun. I think he was stunned by her beauty and just sat there for her, hardly flinched at all while she poked around in his nose.

They have the cutest little clinic cat too…looks like my first cat I ever had. Passed out cold on the counter in his little basket. (If I fits in it, I sits in it) Precious. ^_^ One of the best vets I ever had the pleasure of working with in the 48 was a gent who had an enormous clinic cat that was about the size of a medium sized dog. This feline was always out in waiting room traffic and the sweetest thing you’d ever want (or not want) in your lap. I think if you see something like this in your vet’s office, you may just have found your happy place.

If Mimzy’s positive, she’ll hook me up with some Baytril for him. She didn’t push it on me, but offered if I wanted it. She felt it would be okay to wait, though. I cannot tell you how much STRAIN has left me today. ^_^ I’m absolutely giddy!

Sorry about the keyboard…my bad…. (hands you some paper towels and a Swiffer)

That’s terrific – I just love it when you meet a vet that you really feel good about. That’s how I feel about my current vet, who cared for Spockie for about 2 years. She will do Sammy’s spay. (and when it’s all over I can say, SAM’SPAYED.)

Yes, it was definitely you. I know because the keyboard is all clean tonight and working, with one exception. A key stuck. The “M”!!!!

Ah the irony that the ‘cheer me up’ gem needed caffiene – for a ‘pick me up’? Curious Pam, were you given this gem by someone or did you purchase it? An object given to you by someone, that suddenly moves……mmm…..lol.

Have to ask you and MM now about double Virgo’s and quad Scorpio’s. What does that mean? I sometimes read horoscope for bit of fun but not that well versed in it all.

I had my chart done years ago…if I remember correctly, I am born under the sign and it was rising at the time of my birth, which makes me even more Virgo-ier than most Virgos. (All the annoying traits, of course.)

However I have no idea what a quadruple sign would be. 0_o Sounds ominous though. ^_^

Maybe it means you can only drink your coffee with crystals in it? xD

LOLZ Mimz!  I did my own chart years ago – boy was that an ardudous process….now they have computer programs and free online “samples” you can do just for fun.  You gals are cracking me up over here!  Crystals in coffee..sheesh.  What is in store for this Scorpio then, I hope they don’t migrate my way…. LOLZ  …O.K. *trotting to my room and breaking out my tarot cards*…you guys have me spooked.

There are any number of places on the web you can go to, but I found this one the least annoying and with the lowest amount of pop-ups and sheisters i.e. carpet baggers wanting your money.  They do send a LOT of SPAM e-mail but you can unsubscribe easily and/or block their e-mail address…and heck it’s just fun and non-bunny related….ooo hey, that’s an idea, I have the birth dates of my bunnies…I’m going to look that up!!!!  We should start another discussion!  What is your rabbits sign?

hehe! I swear she’s a Scorpio but she falls into the Libra zone. I read years ago that the Astrology sign calendar we use today was not the original one…according to that I was Libra rather than Virgo I think. I do see traits of both signs in my make up ….but then again, I could find traits of all the signs in it too! lol

OK, ok. I have a typically strange Scorpio story about how I found out what my astrological chart was, and what it meant.

I was living in Salem, MA, and working a few towns away. Had a few with some co-workers and came home around 8PM. Felt restless and when I drove through the center of town I saw a light on in the local New Age bookstore. Stopped, and three women met me at the door saying “are you here for the class?” I wasn’t who they were expecting – she never showed – but they told me it was Beginning Astrology and $10. So I went in and ended up taking this little class for the next 6 weeks. No computerized charts online then either.

MM is a double Virgo because her Acendent conjuncts her sun. That means they are only a few degrees apart on her circular chart. Think of it as a celestial snapshot of the moment of your birth. I’m a “quadruple” Scorpio because my Sun, Acendent (that’s the Rising Sign), Mars and Neptune were in a little cluster and only a few degrees apart also. A range of about 30 degrees separates the signs, so all 4 are “in the sign of Scorpio.” It’s like a pie cut into 12 pieces, or signs, not exactly the same width like any pie that’s cut unevenly. Not exactly 30 degrees each time. If you think of the pie as smooth, like pumpkin, but someone dropped about a dozen raisins into it, the raisins would each be a planet. So when you cut the pie, sometimes there are a couple of raisins stuck together in a single piece. That’s a conjunction of planets.

The most interesting thing about a chart is that the more you learn about how each person’s is different, the more the different characteristics blend to make no two people alike. I have many Scorpio characteristics because I have so many in Scorpio. But a different Scorpio sun, born Nov. 8th for example, with 3 conjunct planets in Leo, will not seem like a Scorpio at all. My class likened it to people born in New York City. They’re all Americans, they’re all New Yorkers, but that’s where any resemblance stops. You can always tell a New Yorker from someone born in Wisconsin – that’s how different a Virgo is from an Aries. But there’s much more detailed subtleties once you see a chart.

The most unbelievable thing for me at least is, how the heck does a planetary configuration at the moment of your birth have anything to do with your personality characteristics, and especially your future life? Astrology can be really fun and interesting, but you need to accept the premise or at least suspend disbelief in order to get past the foundation. Comes under the heading of “I don’t know WHY it works, it just does.” Maybe.

MM – you strike me as very Virgo, but I always got along very well with Virgos so I consider that a good thing. I think when you look up Scorpio in the dictionary you see my picture…sigh.

On your final paragraph ^^, same here, I always take it with a pinch of salt. It’s interesting but….I don’t know. In my view, you are born/living at conception really and maybe we exist on some level even prior to that…

Email me your date of birth, TIME of birth (as close to the minute as possible if you know it.), and exact location. Since you’re in Australia it will be very different from anything generally estimated around here, so city (or town) and where that is (do you have provinces? Please pardon my geographical ignorance.) and country.

I’ll go scare up an internet chart maker. There’s a good website somewhere if I can find it again.

If I had to guess on my bunnies’ star signs…well, I’m pretty sure Mimzy was about three months old when we found him in June…so that would make him about a Pisces, right? (Maybe more of an Aries, since he always gets his way.)

Pip would definitely have to be a Taurus. Bull headed doesn’t cover it. >.<

Fiver? Vet thought he was a little under a year when I brought him home in September…so he may be a Virgo too, but I’m leaning towards Leo…star of the show, for sure. ^_^
