is it ok to mix 2 pellet brands together?i use oxbow pellets but i also have a 40 lb bag of purina rabbit chow that my boyfriend bought by mistake.is it ok if i mix both when feeding my bunnies?Chace wont touch his pellets without Purina since thats what he was fed before we got him and Chance is the other way around.theyve been having normal poops so is it gonna hurt them in the long run?

or..can i just mix both and give it to both of them until i run out of the Purina.then after that,i’ll just give them Oxbow without Purina?

i hope you guys understand what im tryin to say here

Absolutely, that is fine! I wouldn’t want to waste those pellets either. Unless of course you can take the Purina back, but if not, I think that is perfectly okay.

I agree. Actually, mixing pellets is the way you get a bunny to gradually change brands in the first place. You get them used to the new while they can fish around for the old, and finally eliminate the old when they are eating both. Sounds like they will both be happy for a while.
