Glad you got to it straight away. Do you know how old the bunnies are? When hormones come into play, they can begin to fight. Also, housing the male and female together can result in pregnancy – even if they are siblings. Females can become pregnant from 3 months old….(possibly even younger, I cannot remember the exact age)

Be best to keep them separate as she heals anyway but I’m sure your vet told you that . Heal well Missy!!

              Poor Missy
              (((Healing Vibes)))

Did you check Gangster for bite marks as well? It’s really easy to miss bite marks on bunnies cause they have such thick fur but if you haven’t already (and I’m sure you have) you should just give him a quick check over

Oh my gosh, how scary! Poor bunny! I’m glad you got her in right away. Like the others mentioned, if they are coming to age (3-4 months), it is going to be very, very important for them to be neutered and spayed or else you will have babies and that is not a good outcome. Since they had this fight and they are of breeding age, they need to be separated now until they are both altered and the hormones are allowed to decrease. At that time, they will both be healed, her face will be healed, and you can try to bond them back together.

I don’t think their is anything you can feed to help speed things up. Are they seperate now? They may have to remain seperate until they are old enough to be spay/neutered. Afterwards you could introduce them again.
