  In the neighborhood I grew up in, there was this family who had two dogs that they would regularly walk. One was a ginormous Saint Bernard. Huge, fluffy, massive. The second was an itty, bitty, little Chihuahua (a mix, I think) who couldn’t have weighed more than 5 pounds. The family would walk the dogs together, and it was always so cool to see them… the same kind of animal… but SO DIFFERENT!
  
  So I thought we could have a photo thread with YOUR mismatched pairs. It’s pretty open, so whatever YOU consider to be mismatched is fine. And we can take this to your other species as well. If you have two dogs or cats or…. whatever that don’t “go together”, post them on here. Inter-species friends are allowed too, as long as they can SAFELY be photographed together! We don’t want to see your ball python cuddling with your hamster!
  
  My buns might as well be a pair of socks, they are so similar. With the exception of their ear position!

  I have a mismatched pair (opposites attract right?), but not in appearance, in personality.
  
  I have Arduina the attention hog, diva, adventurous trouble-maker one, and then Leo the shy timid follower side-kick .
  
  Here are some photos to explain:
  
  Leo says to Arduina: should you really be up there?
  
  Arduina is having fun in the box of peanuts! Leo is below on the carpet wondering what the heck she’s doing up there (sorry its side ways, it wasn’t before I uploaded it).
  
  Again, Arduina the adventurous one on top of the box, Leo is hiding insdie. A clash in personalities.
  
  I do enjoy having mismatched pair.. I don’t think I could handle having two rambuctous trouble makers.

  lwayne- your pair are so perfect together (lookwise, anyways). It’s funny how different they really are.

  Kate and Flopsy. Kate’s a tiny, uppy eared, red eyed, living bunny. And Flopsy is big, black eyed, floppy eared and inanimate. It’s a true Romeo and Juliet tragic love affair! Or maybe they’re Galatea and Pygmalion, lol I’m a nerd.

  My jenday conure and bunbun – while not the best of friends, they tolerate each other and we all live in a small space in relative harmony.

  I will have to see if I can get a pic of Momo with her best friend Seven, our huge male tabby cat. She has also been playing with our dog Zeke a lot lately.

  I adopted a seven month old white holland lop, and quickly found out that she was quite lonely, so we did some research and things, and adopted a three and a half year old Dutch, they are the sweetest and it’s so nice to see that they both seem so happy spending time together. They also cuddle with the cat sometimes but i don’t have any pictures of that

  Although it honestly has nothing to do wi rabbits, my best mismatched pair is a thoroughbred mare (16 hands) and a Siamese stray cat. They will literally cuddle together! Some nasty person shot the poor cat and we had to keep him on quarantine, but when he was able to go back outside, she immediately took back to her old horsey friend! They are still together today, hoof to kitty paw (sadly have no good pics)
