  I wanted to write about my experience with my rabbit and mirrors, and since it can be entertaining for them i decided to put it here.
  
  In my room (which is also my bunnies room) i have a mirror hanging about 2 feet off the ground on my door. And wheneve ri would pick Cupcake up to leave my room i would have to stand infront of the mirror. The second she saw her reflection though she would freak out. I guess she thought she saw another animal and it threatened her. But one day she stepped infront of my door and started looking up like she does when she wants to jump up high (like on a desk etc.) and then she jumped and hit the mirror. For like the next minute she was really disoriented. I made sure she was okay, after laughing hysterically… Then yesterday i took her to my siblings play room to hop round and explore and she seemed really interested in this mirror that was sitting on the floor. So i decided to move it into my room for a little while and let her “play” with it. She had fun looking in it for a while and she even went behind it to check if she could see her reflection there (i set the back of it on her cage). I am going to take it away though because its not mine. But i think that if you have a curious rabbit (and a brave one) buying/or moving a mirror and putting it into their cage/room/lay space it would keep them entertained for a little while.

  Cute!!! Olivia has a little bird toy mirror in her condo but she never reacts to her reflection. I wonder if she sees it. And my baby has a play mirror in the living room that my buns run by all the time. I don’t think they see themselves.

  LittlePuffyTail im guessing that the bird mirror is probably pretty small, so she probably cant see much of her reflection, but idk. And if they run by it during playtime they are probably too distracted by other things to stop and look in a mirror. Or they are just afraid! But if you want them to play with it maybe in a smaller enclosed area they would notice it and play in it? I need to figure out how to post a picture so you can see her with the mirror. Are there any threads explaining how to do that?

  Mine doesnt react to mirrors at all.

  Avantica it probably just depends on the rabbit.
