I always thought Nibbles was a mini rex, but today after researching I’m not so sure!  I’ve seen Chinchilla breed rabbits, and she has the same  coloring.  The lighting is a bit off in the first pic.  The second pic is more true to her actual coloring.  She’s about 5 lbs.  What breed do you think she is?

She’s so pretty but definitely not a rex. I would say she’s a dwarf mix.

gasp! I am in love! This rabbit is drop-dead gorgeous! She looks very much chinchilla-colored to me, keeping in mind that a chinchilla rabbit can express a recessive gene that makes the coloring come out beige. Her ears look dwarfish to me.
Not a mini rex but what a beauty!

Definitely not a rex. Her coloring is chinchilla (maybe sable chinchilla or another varient, since she has that beige underfur), but that doesn’t mean that is her breed, as I think chinchillas are fairly rare – other breeds come in the chinchilla color (my mini lop is broken sable chinchilla, for example) – but it’s possible she’s a chinchilla mix. Her face looks very much like a dwarf to me, so I would guess she’s most likely a dwarf mix. Very pretty girl!

she looks like a dwarf mix to me, dwarfs are a little “pudgier” looking in my expirence, she’s doesnt have the rex build or fur by her looks.

Doesn’t have the right fur to be a rex Does haev a dwarfish look to her, but a mix, not a full.

My rabbit Ms. Rabbit has a very similar ear, head and body shape. She’s definitely part Mini Rex, and I think that she’s either part Polish or part Britannia Petite.

It’s possible that your bunny is part Rex or Mini Rex. She doesn’t really look like a chinchilla rabbit to me, though. Her fur coloring reminds me of silver tipped agouti, which is found in a few different breeds.

My first bunny was a dwarf mix named Nibbles too! She was chocolate brown with blue under. I got her when I was 8 (for Easter) and she went everywhere with me.. even to college! Yep, she lived for 11.5 years (not bad for being unspayed and having an alfalfa pellet based diet).

She looks more like Smudge than Monkey. So part Polish perhaps.

I believe that she is a mix between a mini cute and a dwarf adorable.

                              That’s my professional opinion.
