As I’ve posted before, I currently have a 2nd bunny I’m caring for during the next 3 months. I have them both in the same room but separately with separate play time.

Bunny really doesn’t show any aggression at all to Mimzy but I think he likes to antagonize her & go up next to her cage. At first, it was Bunny who’s litter habits weren’t that great but now he’s doing really well.

In the previous times of bunny sitting Bunny, he would only be here for a week & of course Mimzy would mark her territory but it wasn’t that bad & really was just pellets. But it seems that the longer Bunny stays here (still 3 months to go), Mimzy’s litter habits are getting worse! They’ve just gone out the window. She’s peeing everywhere, pooping everywhere. Even if she’s just in her cage. She’ll start using her litter box but then later in the day she has just gone everywhere on her bottom level. I know she really doesn’t like Bunny, I have no idea what to do

There is absolutely no way to put Bunny in a separate room. Our house is kinda small, 3 big dogs running the rest of the house & a cat who’s not friendly to little creatures. My room is honestly the only place I can house both of them. I’m at the point where I just don’t want to let either one of them out to play because it’s just stressful but I know that’s not right

I don’t really want to this since I like having my room just open & able to freely walk about, but, would it be best to get a play pen to stretch across the middle of my room? Like just get a playpen which I already have, to be a divider down the middle & still give them separate play times though. That way they won’t be able to even go near the other bunny’s cage? If I do this, it will basically give Mimzy a 5×4 foot space but she also has her condo. & Bunny’s cage is a little small so I tend to try & give him more time out, the divide will give him a 9×4 foot space to run.

Help please! I can’t wait till the 3 months are over lol.

To make things simpler, can you just block the cages off with a large opened sheet of cardboard? This way they couldn’t see each other and that might help.
