So I’m low on wood pellets, and won’t have time to run across town to Tractor Supply to get more before I run out.  I called around a few places, and Menard’s has wood stove pellets for under $4 for a 40lb bag.  I asked the guy if they had any chemicals in them and he said no, it’s 100% compressed wood.  Anyone have experience with the wood stove pellets from Menard’s?  Here’s a link to them:

I always have used the horse stall bedding kind of pellets in the past, but these are cheaper and closer.  Menard’s is only like 5 mins from my house, Tractor Supply is at least 15-20 mins.

I would double check the back and read what’s in them when you buy them just to be safe, and that should be fine.

If you do a search under the diet and care section, there’s a few posts about them. From what I understand, any type should be fine as long as there is no acceleration added.
