Hello from Canada!
My husband and I are first time owners of a baby bunny. He is 6 weeks old and is a dwarf X Holland lop named Gimli. We have Three Sons ages 15 12 + 8. This is our first pet as a family (hubby and I have owned a dog and cat before having kids).
Gimli has been home with us for about 5 days and he is so friendly and sociable I can’t believe it!
As soon as we brought him home, he licked all our faces and his favourite place to sit is under our chins. He is constantly kissing us and grooming us, it is just so incredibly cute. I was expecting him to be a bit more shy and skittish especially being a baby but he is anything but!
Gimli loves to sunbathe and sleeps sprawled out. Sometimes he even sleeps on his back which freaked me out as I thought he was dead lol!
It’s only been 5 days in this little bun has captured all of our hearts. I can’t wait to see more of his personality as he grows!
