  hello max has been jumping on my back (when i’m laying on my stomach) more than usual. Is this some kind of dominance behavior? or is he just playing around?

  I think he is just playing around. If he is demanding grooms from you that is definitely a more dominance move – or obvi. if he starts mounting you but if he is just hopping up on top of you to get a better view around the room I think he’s just having fun.

  I hadn’t thought to look at it that way – as dominance. I would think it’s him exploring and being more adventurous. One time when Jersey was sitting up on chest of draws I bent down to pick up something of the ground nearby. She hopped onto my back. Now when I line my back up near her she always hops on. BT has even given Cotton horsey rides.

  haha i looooooove that picture. that looks exactly like what max does- but he doesn’t eat my hair! at least not yet….

  Lucy eats my hair! I always thought that was just her odd deal. Imagine my surprise when I was up to my bun sitting in front of me on the pillow with a snoot full of my hair >:[ She doesn’t do it much anymore. Sorry to digress

  Yep – Pepper does that. It’s a nice massage.
  
  She also only seems to eat my hair when I use a particular leave-in conditioner – she also found the tube on the floor and chewed a hole in it to get to it. She actually trimmed one section short when I fell asleep on the couch one day.
