I started bawling at the end too. I can so relate to that movie and how close you can get to a pet

What’s the story line? It looked like a nice goofy movie? I cry when I watch all dogs go to heaven, and eight below…

The commercials on tv really don’t do the movie justice. It doesn’t so much depend on who the actors are or what the storyline is… if a movie can effect me emotionally like this one did, as if were happening in real life, then (imo) that’s a good movie.

Gah. I cried at the end of this too…but the movie didn’t really mirror the book very well. And also? Marley’s owners SUCKED as pet owners. I was so furious with Grogan (or whatever his name is) when I was reading all of the stupid choices he made regarding the care of this dog, especially at the end when his health was going down hill.

If this family had done things for Marley the right way there wouldn’t have been a book and there most certainly wouldn’t have been a movie. All this publicity did was glorify the average, uneducated dog owner who has no clue how to tame an unruly dog. I HATED it.

Sorry to those of you who loved it…lol

I didn’t see the movie but I read the book when it came out and remember that I cried so hard towards the end!!!

I was a wreck at the end, as Owen had relaxed into a puddle of goo having laid on top of me throughout the whole movie.
