        Hello everyone.

        I hope you doing great. I noticed today that my 6 month old male rabbit has a small white mark in it’s eye (see photo). I have never seen that mark before. May someone explain me what is that? Also I am going to visit vet soon 😁

          It could be a number of things. The first that comes to mind is that it could be from infection with the E. cuniculi parasite. EC has a number of symptoms but often there is only 1 symptom at first. Your vet will be able to assess other possible causes. It’s not an emergency, but getting your bun into the vet soon would be good so you can start treatment right away if it’s EC.

            It’s hard to see in the picture. Is the white mark on the colored part of the eye (iris)? Or is it more of a blob “floating” in the pupil area?
