My 2 border collies. They are both Merle. Arthur is Blue Merle. You can see the little spots on his legs. Of his litter, I picked the most standard looking. I had him since 8 weeks. He is a total sweetie, but wary of strangers. Rebel is a red merle. Also a love bug, but Rebel lives up to his name. Super energetic, stubborn, always testing the limits. Both male, neutered.

Sarah. Henry does exactly the same to Zou, who was previously laying quite happily by herself, and bang… in comes Henry on a dramatic side-roll !!!
Sounds like Peanut and Henry would get along great, rolling into each other in a very over the top manner

I love Easter time! My room is going to be full of bunny decorations by the end of this Easter season. All the adorable things I see in the seasonal section I just have to get for Reese! Lol
This I saw and thought “This would be perfect for Reese’s treats” ^

It’s stuffed with plantain and marigold but once all that’s gone (ahem, devoured!) you can re-use it. I usually stuff romaine lettuce and dill or thyme in it and give it to them with their plate of veggies.

Breintje has been acting barking mad this morning: running around, jumping, binkying. Yup, spring is here! He’s finally at rest now, loafing in his litterbox, all energy spent.
@Oakley: awww, it would be a shame to keep all that cuteness to yourself ^_^ -
Some crazy bunny person went and spent way too much money on a whole bunch of new fleece for the bunnies (retail therapy for me is buying pet things, never clothes). But how could I not when that hedgehog print is so cute, and the bunnies look even cuter on it!
I think I got five new patterned pieces for downstairs, and four new plain pieces for upstairs (where they have a tendency to chew). The fleece actually comes the perfect width off the roll too to fold in half for the width of the condo, and then I just had it cut to the required length I thought about getting the downstairs fleece to cover the whole bottom but decided to leave a spot where the water bowl is and under the hay rack where it would just get even more covered in hay.

Piper Parsnip, y’all 
She is 8months old and recently spayed. Very loving, although strangely protective of her belongings haha. When she’s ready to sleep, she literally face plants into the floor/cage/couch and flops onto her side like so (And yes, she has a Marilyn Monroe mole on her nose, last night’s eyeliner smeared all over her face and butt tufts like a tussock moth caterpillar She’s a hot mess LOL but so adorbs!)

I bought a Nikon D3400 with two lenses at Christmas when they were on sale.
I’m using windows photo editor, which doesn’t accept RAW format so I will need to upgrade.

So heartbreaking. Olaf was found outside as a stray with 5 of his siblings around this time, too. A few were hit by cars before they could be rescued. Stuffed animals and chocolate for baskets, please! Also, only get a rabbit if you’d like to redecorate your entire home. My coffee table has been replaced by bunny island.

Spring time is here, and it’s finally warm enough for Breintje to play outside for a while. My apartment is always pretty warm (to keep my muscles and joints supple), so I had to wait for the weather to warm up enough so it wouldn’t give him temperature shock.
At first he was a bit overwhelmed, and in full investigation mode. He hadn’t been outside for over half a year, so it was all very exciting. After that he started nibbling grass, cleaning his face afterwards. After 20 minutes or so he thought it was getting a bit chilly: he puffed out all his fur, so I took him inside again where he promptly started to binky. Happy bunny, happy owner ^_^

ReeseBun, she had been laying next to him, heard something and shot up, lol. Can they puff whiskers? I had no idea, I just know she has a lot of whiskers for a tiny bunny! Yes, he is always expecting to be groomed, recently he has taken to actually returning the grooming, which is nice

Her and Sampras are doing great though, very happy to have me home. The longest he’s ever been off of medication ^.^ (touch wood!!)

ND’s are awesome indeed. Not sure if Breintje is a full one either. His colouring, ears and head are correct according to a friend of mine who did shows, but his body is slightly too large. He weighs 1,3 kg while 1,12 kg is the maximum for ND show buns.This has to be the best pic of Breintje I took this month. He just looks so proud after solving his puzzle, can’t stop grinning at it.

You know I have heard that too about Lionheads. What I’ve always wondered, is that although you can’t import rabbits, could you import rabbit semen (or eggs)? Bear with me on this
Because in terms of breeds that we don’t have, although I’m sure that the cost would be absurd, if you could import some genetic material from good stock overseas, and then impregnate does here of as similar breed as possible, you could get pretty close to the actual breed. Of course you would need to import genetic material from many different rabbits to get a decent gene pool, then from those first litters, you could pick the does that best resemble the desired breed, and then use more genetic material (from a different buck than their father of course) to strengthen those genetic traits. Surely that could be done, but maybe also importing genetic material isn’t allowed. Either that or no one who cares has the money to do it. Of course there would be a lot of “waste” as I’ll call it, unwanted rabbits for the gene pool etc that then need homes etc. But the concept intrigues me.Edit: Sorry, just realised I’m talking about intentional breeding. It was more of a possible genetic concept than actual breeding, if that makes sense

When I walk into the bird/bunny room I first get an eye on who is where, because Guinivere will be hanging around my ankles for petting, and my 2 favorite cockatiels will be competing for my attention. Smokey is on my shoulder here. Bandit woudl normally be on my other shoulder but she has a wing injury at the moment. The little one who I haven’t named because I planned on selling him but them got too attached – is on my head. He believes I am his momma, and when Smokey comes near me or sits on my shoulder, the little one is on my head very quickly, making sure Smokey doens’t get too much attention. Smokey is whistling in my ear, in this picture.

We went to the wildlife refuge. Didn’t see much besides some gators and turtles.

Gators…..scary but thanks for the SQUEE afterwards. Gators just really creep me out. They just look so sinister. They are like the animal that is thinking most about killing you…..and Ostriches…….scared of those buggers….
Kyle gets a little jealous when I’m giving a bunny some snuggles. And both Sterling and Bindi were super snuggly last night. I did nothing for like 2 hours except snug bunnies!!!

Jess is tiny for an adult cat and I can’t get used to big cats LOL
Cali was very undernourished when she was found and she too is making up for it !!!I feed them twice the amount the pack says for their weight and they still act as if they are staaarved !!!
I won’t continue that amount but i reckon after the crap life of 6-8 years (unknown) she’s most likely had, she deserves a few months of decent grub !!

I really need to talk to my vet soon and regulate how much food he gets. It’s so hard to get extra weight off a kitty. And he’s a begger too. Every time he hears a crinkly bag he thinks he’s gonna get a treat. And I can’t say no. He’s got a real “Puss in Boots” face he does.

I attended an adoption event yesterday with my camera, hoping to achieve some great pictures, checked the battery was charged…arrived and turned on the camera..the memory card was at home!! Sigh, lol..next time

Not sure if I will bring my bunnies? I always wonder what will happen to their bond during something like that.
It’s not that I’d think of first, I’d wonder if the bunnies would reeeally get anything out of the day, rather than once again the hooman thinking that they will.
I wouldn’t question a doggy day out – they are such social creatures, even to strange people and strange dogs – but cats and rabbits meeting other cats and other rabbits ??

@Tony’s mum: it’s true, rabbit toys are hard to find. Luckily our Breintje isn’t scared of the cat tunnel we got, even though it rustles a lot. I hope that Tony will enjoy his little hedgie! It’s hard, but try not to worry too much about his neutering, for males it’s a less invasive procedure and most of them recover quickly. He’ll be so much calmer, happier and healthier once all those annoying hormones are gone.
This morning I decided to treat myself to a “café et croissant” breakfast with some raspberries. I shared one with Breintje. Usually he runs off with it so no-one can get to his sweet treat, but today he climbed half onto my lap and ate the raspberry there. Well, that’s one set of PJ’s for the laundry, but I did manage to get some cute pics

When I was younger easter used to be as big as christmas! My cousins and I used to line up with baskets at the ready and run like looneys round the garden collecting as much chocolate as we could find

I remember being disappointed as kids. I always wanted to have outdoor Easter egg hunts, but the weather was either too warm or there were ant problems
So we always had our egg hunts indoors. As we got a little older, our parents used to write our names on the bigger eggs, so sometimes when we found one, we had to pretend that we hadn’t because it wasn’t our egg That was always amusing “Oh my gosh, I found…. Oh wait, it’s nothing. There’s no egg here.”

The print is great indeed!March madness is officially here: temperatures are on the rise and Breintje is more active. Tuesday I had a friend over in the evening, and we were having a pretty serious talk about the difficult time he’s been having lately. Breintje decided that this was the moment to cheer everyone up and start zooming and binkying around the room. He hasn’t had such an outburst of energy for almost a year, and we really missed it. My friend was very surprised, because he didn’t know Breintje could be so active. Mostly he gets cuddly in the evenings.
Today Breintje was in his (open) cage, and decided to destroy the cardboard flooring. He’s been at it all morning now: ripping, tearing, digging! When I walked over with my phone he did this really cute pose. Then he jumped out of his cage and started to run around the room. Our little bun has a bit too much energy for his own good lately

he is sulking right now because i gave him a new blanket for on top of his step stool and then found him trying to get something out if his mouth … closer look and it was fabric ! monkey had decided to taste test it whixh he has never done to blankets before … so i removed it and the stool ( as i had no blanket to put on it and its slippery without it ) and replaced it with fiddle sticks … one unhappy bunny

Sorry about the flood of pictures, but Breintje’s antics are through the roof lately.
We have these wooden cat litter pellets who fall apart when they absorb pee, I scoop these out daily to reduce the smell. This is the face of somebunny who found out why it’s not a good idea to headbutt the poopscoop while I’m tidying up the litterbox a bit:
