Abbie is my dog. Harley has been obsessed with befriending the dogs since I’ve gotten him and every time Harley would hop on the couch to snuggle up, Abbie would get up and go to the other couch lol in the February picture thread he is always with one of the dogs…

I’m sure when Sally gets spayed and I start bonding them he will forget all about Abbie and Bear(the other dog) Bear would let Harley lay next to him but Abbie didn’t wanna be seen cuddling with a rabbit. She had too much “dog pride” I think Harley prefers Abbie over Bear for snuggles because she is around the same size as him. Whereas Bear is 90lbs lol!

Here is Buster on his ‘perch’. He loves to go up there (it’s the highest point in his cage) and just watch the surroundings. This time he decided to flop out, but he couldn’t fit. He kept trying to set his head down and it would fall, he’d perk up looking all freaked out, and would do it again. It went on for a good 4 minutes… so cute!

Lily was bored yesterday, so we decided to get her fishing pole toy out that she didn’t get to play with for a couple of months. We thought she would be happy and eager to play. Well, we were wrong. As soon as we took it out, she became super possessive of it, she grabbed it tighter than a pitbull, growling and trying to get it away from us. So much for playtime.

I know I’ve been MIA for awhile. I quit school for this year (too much stress.) And had to give back the laptop to the school, then order a new one (which I have to send back, because I can’t download anything! ) and we moved the rabbits to my room because my nephew kept getting into the room where we kept them and throwing things at them, because his mother doesn’t watch him (not getting into that, all that matters is that I fixed the problem) THEN! Nala decides that she’s not gonna eat and scare me! So a vet trip was in order, that was just gas, thankfully. And two nights ago, Duchess doesn’t eat! Well, I realized that that was because there was no romaine in their salad (Ran out the night before) and she was angry at me, because when we got her some romaine, she chowed down, and is eating fine now. *Shakes head* Those rabbits will be the death of me I think. But here’s some well overdue photos (If you don’t have me on facebook that is.)

Oh, let’s not forget that Duchess found a place to sit, aka the temporary hay rack.

And the last image! My girlfriend got this for me for Valentines day (along with a bracelet she made and a happy box, which just consisted of a photo of a sloth… It’s best you don’t ask, because I don’t have an answer.) Sadly, it didn’t make it in one piece from Tennessee, because she didn’t package it right, but some super glue fixed it right up, we have to live with a couple cracks, but it was still a nice gesture.

OHMYDAYS!!  Sam and Lady’s Human, Apollo and Lady are both chinchilla coloured right? They sleep in the same position too! Mines not as close up, as Apollo isn’t all that trusting yet, and he’s in his petstore cage whilst my NIC grids arrive, they’re on order from Amazon right now! It’s a bit of a different position, but my mum woke him up putting the dishes away before he lay back down!

Apollo is such a cutie… Just noticed the power point behind his home…. My bunnies would have that cord in a flash.. They would work their little noses between the bars till they could get in chomping range.

That’s the thing Roberta, he’s not really a mega chewer I’ve noticed. Like, in free range time he never chews the dining table or anything. Yet he knows he has teeth, he grabs hold of storage tubs and Tupperware boxes and throws them around. Guess I got lucky! ;D

There is no place Sally would rather be than sitting at momma’s feet and getting the occasional ear massage She LOVES ear rubs! Even if I rub the insides of her ears she just melts lol 

She comes up and demands attention if she is ignored. Sometimes, when she is at my feet and I don’t acknowledge her presence she will try to climb up my leg. This is her, “and WHAT is so important to keep me waiting, hmmm?” look.

MissD: Thanks! Buddy and Lily seem to have similar markings. Is Buddy a seal point? I’m not sure if they use the same terms for bunny colors as for cat’s. Lily’s a lilac point, although she’s a little dark for a lilac. I guess that’s because we keep the house pretty cool. She’s a handful and more work than any bunny I’ve ever had!

This is Barney, I rescued him 2 nights ago and he is SUCH a lovely little guy!! I love him so much already His fur is uneven looking as we had to cut a LOT of matts out of him, his fur was sooo long before!

Hazel – yes, Buddy is seal point, his markings are changing a bit (he’s got a big brown spot on his back now he didn’t have before) but they’re still similar to Lily’s.

Sally and Harley aren’t bonded yet. I still have to wait for Sally to get spayed. They share the same “territory”(living room and kitchen) during play time so they will be used to each others scents by the time bonding goes. they also interact through the bars and don’t seem to mind each other and not poop all over the place which I see as good signs I can’t wait to start the process though!

Roberta- Lol, I loved the captions for Pascal’s dinner date. The stuffed bunny looks so much like your white bunny which makes it even funnier.

Buddy is so cute sleeping next to his bed and with Ted!! Sally is gorgeous and really photogenic! Oh I die every time I see bunnies cleaning their ears like that. Barney is so fluffy and kinda looks like a little dog in the first pic. Love the shark rabbit, freaking adorbs! Like all the other bunnies in this forum. I wish they could all meet and be friends

Hooray I have internet again, now I can see bunny pictures!!!!  I love browsing through everyone’s photos, the bunnies are just so adorable!

I went off to University and left my bunny and dog at home, so I’ve been deprived of cuteness for almost a month now. I took some photos of Alvin right before I left, but he was just so tired, he wouldn’t give me the time of day.

Abbie’s goal? To get the food from my plate. Sally’s goal? To get on the other side of that cage, into the hallway… neither of them won :p 

Harley got to play in the box that the water heater came in. He LOVED IT! 

Sally always demands “grooms” from Abbie. Abbie never denies her  

Which is why they make great pals. It’s crazy how quickly Sally decided she liked Abbie. It took her 3 weeks to actually approach Abbie and then from that day forward, they became close pals!

My brother and I are home for spring break and his 1 1/2 old cat, Bear, is here. He and Lucy are definitely NOT best friends. He’s way too hyper/playful and doesn’t understand that it isn’t fun for him to chase her. Good thing he tires out quickly. I can’t wait until Lu grows up and is 10 lbs. That’ll be a real surprise for Bear.

Had our first car ride to the shelter vet today for a shot she needed. Wasn’t actually too bad. She held up really well and ate a lot of hay/treats. 

While I was at the shelter, I saw THIS adorable bun. I almost died. He was too cute. I already want another bun, even though I haven’t had mine for very long. I’m so tempted to go back to the shelter and snatch him up.

NewBunnyOwner123- It’s so cool that your dog and bunny are bffs. I would love to introduce a dog to Nugget and see how she reacts. Abbie look so cute when she’s trying to be a bunny! Also, I’m so in love with Sally… she’s like the perfect model bunny that everyone wants.

MissD- Aw, does Buddy let you pet him though? Maybe it just takes some time for him to trust you or he might have had a bad experience in his past. I would be really sad if Nugget didn’t let us pet or hold her. The downside is that she also lets other people pick her up and now all my friends want to steal her from me haha.

Bea and Harley look so similar, I thought they were the same bunny until I noticed Bea has lop ears and she’s a girl =P Both have beautiful coloring, like a tiger. They would probably like each other if they met. Alvin is so cute with his body stretched out!

Caroline22- Lucy will be 10lbs full grown? Wow! I’ve only had mine for less than 2 months and I always think about adopting another one, so it’s not crazy. I would want to go back to get that handsome boy too, how could someone give him up? He’s precious! I also love Patches and Raven… ah I think I’m obsessed with everyone’s bunnies.

He lets me stroke his head and back when he feels like it. He never lets me touch his feet or pick him up which would be ok but I’d like to be able to check his bum, nails and teeth every now and then. The funny thing is he lets the vet do it. I know nothing about his past, I got him from a rescue and they didn’t really tell me much about him apart from the fact that originally he was supposed to be adopted together with his mum but she started biting him and they had to be separated. He’s only been with me for 2 months, maybe he needs more time. Nugget’s lovely though, I’d love Buddy to be like that one day

NuggetBuns – yep! She’s a New Zealand White, so she’ll definitely grow up to be a big girl! She’s only four months right now and she probably weights 4-5lbs. If I could afford two buns, I would go get him in a heartbeat. I don’t think buns at that shelter get adopted too often though, because a few of them had been there for a longggg time. So who knows, maybe in a few months I’ll get another! Btw I think Nugget is sooooo adorable.

So I haven’t been on BB much lately as I just started my own website, blog, and Facebook concerning Rabbit and Guinea Pig Care.  BUT now that we have it mostly set up, I should be on BB a lot again!   So now is the time I’m going to be blowing up with some pictures of my bonded quartet and the newest baby girl, Nora!  If you guys didn’t see my post – we rescued a baby bun from a pet store with a really bad upper resp. infection and malnourished.  She saw the vet, is getting back on her feet, will be spayed in a few months hopefully, and then I’m going to attempt to bond her to my quartet!     But here’s the pictures of them all lately!

Thanks, Hazel! I can already tell her sneezing is starting to get a little better (though for the first day and a half after she began her medicine it was almost like she was getting progressively worse). It has gotten much better although she is still sneezing, the amount of times in a day has gone down drastically.

I’m so sorry, Steph. Hope you’re doing okay. And thinking about all the good times you had with your Stormy man. I really forgot how absolutely stunning he was!

@ Tanlover yup its a she both I and the Vet agreed. a pyramid and not a penis down there. she has already been brought to the vet and checked for parasites and my vet says she is healthy as heck. as for her age she is only about 10-12 weeks old. she was well feed, so we are thinking maybe a breeder lost her? not sure but she is safe and happy now.

Thanks Bullrider! Ian and Hugo are our newest additions. Ian had started out as our foster. And the bf had fallen in love with him. xD Ian and Skipper did not like each other at first so we took them dating to get a third bun that would help mellow them all out. So that was how we got Hugo. =] The bf and I want to steal Blue though to add to our new horde. ;D

LOL @ Skipper’s mama We have a dang horde now. I did my morning chores to clean litter boxes and vacume and clean the water dishes and that took me an hour and a half. Thank god my now 9 Bunnies are worth it LOL Big Blue is awesome lol, he is so laid back unless you try to pick him up, then he freaks out. His wife Baby is high strung and aggressive to the other buns and he nipps her when she gets to grunty if one of the other bunnies get too close to their condo during their play time LOL. I wish I could get them all to get along so they could be free run all the time.

Harley’s back legs are hanging off the sofa. He’s such a sleepy bun!

Once, Harley hopped up on the couch and I started petting him and he kicked out his back legs to lounge, and well, he slid off the couch backwards! He was trying so hard to hold on lol It was so cute. When his back legs finally touched the floor he just stood there, frozen with his front paws still on the couch. I had to pick him to put him back on the couch… poor guy didn’t understand what just happened lol

I’d like a bigger bunny but have no room (one bedroom flat) so I went for a small one. Blue is big, I’ve never seen such a big rabbit apart from photos. They’ve got a giant bunny on sale in my local pet shop but he’s nowhere near as big as that. Beautiful. Harley looks quite big in that sofa photo as well. Bullrider, your other bun looks like mine
