My two year old male Flemish giant Tonne got his nail stuck on his xpen while playing this morning. He ripped out his toenail from what looks to be the base. He is bleeding a pretty small amount. What can I do to help? Does he need to see a vet or can I use an alcohol swab to wipe it and use neosporin on it?

If it’s not bleeding he doesn’t need to see a vet, my Dutch ripped his nail one time and it didn’t bleed much. Don’t use alcohol because it will burn and kill skin so you can use hydrogen peroxide to clean it and then neosporin without pain medicine in it and he should be fine
