        ITS ALMOST WEDNESDAY!!!!!!

The terrorist has almost subsided! LoL

That’s kind of mean LOL. But i’m ready for the behavior to get better – she’s just had a horrible bout of hormones. If you’ve read my other posts shes chewed through everything, torn up the carpet, bit, growled, and scratched me (i have horirble red gashes across my face, hands, and chest LOL). I’m so ready for it to be over.

But realistically I’m really worried about tomrrow. I take her in at 7:30 and pick her up at 3:30. I’m going to clean up the room and all her recent markings in hopes of not encouraging new habits after shes recovered. I bought her new towels for a nice comfy ride home, and a new bed. I’m worried that I’m not going to make it comfortable enough, I thought about letting her lay on the bed for awhile with me to be more comfortable and i’ll have better access to her. I will probably be next to her the entire  day.

Actually, she’s being really good right now, she’s just lounging on the floor with her "dissaproving" look. lol. Hopefully she’ll be more comfortable and happy after her recovery.

I hope everyone has a good night!

Good luck and keep us updated. She’ll be groggy still probably when you get her home so expect that. They’ll have pumped her up with pain meds.

i’m trying to remember what advice i was given after Meadow’s spay… i think someone told me to keep her cage very much the same so it has the familiar scents.  maybe give her the new pet bed today so her smell will be on it when she gets back home, that’s comforting for them.

                  Update!!!

I took lullabelle in at 7:30 this morning and they called me at 9 to tell me they were getting ready to start the surgrey, they called around 10:30-11ish to tell me that all went well and she was waking up. Their just around for observation and I’ll be in to pick her up at 4. I also mentioned to them her smelly poops, so they are going to run poop tests to check everything out, they seemed concerned about symptoms of an internal parasite. Hopefully its nothing.

I just cleaned out her room — she’s been using one of the new towels for a bed so that’s still in her cage and she’s also got her favorite toys in there. I also put her humping object – elmer the stuffed bunny – in there because she seemed to really enjoy elmer’s company. I cleaned up all her litterboxes and tried to put them back where she pushed them too, I hope its satisfying enough to her LOL.

I will give another update if anything happens and when I get her home and settled back in. Thanks for all the support !!!

I’m really glad to hear the procedure went well. I’m also happy that the vet has been giving you updates and that she’ll have most of the day at the vet for them to watch her. It sounds like you’re all ready, which is fantastic. Sending lots of healing wishes her way.

                              Update!!!

She’s home! I love a drugged lullabelle. hahaha. she’s actually more awake than i thought she would be. she keeps trying to hop around, she went to a corner under a ottoman and passed right out on top of the metal circle thing that holds it up. I was concerned about it being uncomfortable and hurting her so i carefully moved her to the couch where i can watch her more and she looks a lot more comfortable anyway, she’s declared it her couch already so i think she’s comforted by the fact that shes allowed on the couch again. don’t worry — there will be no jumping down she’s constantly being supervised.

they ran some tests on her poops, and they think its only because she hasnt been eating her hay. she had some blood work done, and some alkaline something levels were really high. the vet thought it may be because shes still growing and wants to check them in a couple months. so that was the only problem!!! oh how cute she fell asleep in the middle of moving around haha.

thank you everyone for your healing vibes and support! i’ll keep you updated!!!

her eyes look a bit crusty — im sure its from being under anesthesia. grr i wish she would just sit still, she keeps circling around like a dog.
