So as you all know Lullabelle was spayed tuesday and has been moving around WAY too much. So she’s been on cage lockdown and will be on cage lockdown for a week or so.

I opened her cage up this morning to give her loves and food and since she has been trying to get out when i do this, ive been holding the cage door closed with my hand while im getting ready to put things in her cage. WELL — the little brat crawled out the door when i was holding it up with one hand and turned around using my other hand to fill her bowl with pellets!

Okay lullabelle – you just had your sex organs cut out, and youre climbing like a little monkey out of your cage. THEN she takes off! Luckily I had the door in the room closed, and its a small room but she went straight behind the curtains trying to hide. I was like OMG LULLA NOOO! And she kept running away from me. She just cannot sit still! I finally caught her and there was no bleeding and I put her back in her cage. I’d let her have a little time out of the cage if she could find it in herself to just sit in one spot, but as we all know this would never happen.

The funny part of the escape was she was just given her meds, and was a bit groggy/drunk looking. She couldnt hop in one direction and ran into things a few times trying to get away from me. I would have laughed the whole had I not been freaked out about her ripping open her incison! I only caught her because I think she dozed off for a second in the middle of trying to get away.

Oh my goodness! I think it is a good thing you put her back in, not only to prevent the incision from opening again but also so she doesn’t hurt herself while she is hopped up on drugs.

she is 100% diva. I knew this the day i brought her home — i always prepare for a massive chase and am always ready for a lockdown LOL! The FUNNIEST part of it all is since i broke both my feet over the summer, and just got out of a cast, i can’t run or walk very well and I usually have to crawl around to catch her. Its the funniest thing watching me try to coax her out of something, but she’s gotten to the point where she runs when she sees me comming and eventually runs to the right place where all i have to do is close the door LOL. I guess it was silly of me to expect her to just want to nap all the time right after she was spayed! I wonder if she’d go to sleep for awhile if i doubled her meds? haha just kidding. what would i do without my little terrorist? I wouldnt have anyone to help me get my exercise and rebuild the muscles in my feet, nor would i have any reason to clean the couch or run the sweeper frequently. Who else will make me look good at the grocery store when i buy all these yummy veggies and why else would i replace the carpet? Who’s poops would I have to pick up all day!? No one would help my type or help me do my homework by stealing it and eating my study guides? I’d be so lost without her

lol!  lulla sure is one determined bunny bun   trying to evade capture even while all hopped up on goofballs lol.  maybe you could give her some sudokus / crosswords to occupy her time in lock down
