My bunny, Mochi, loves my bedroom. Every time I let her out, she runs right to my bedroom. She’s currently sleeping under my bed and I don’t want to wake her up to put her back in her cage. Does she just want to be near people? Or is she sick of her cage? Lol maybe she loves me and just wants to sleep near me. Idk but I’m wondering what’s so fascinating about my bedroom and underneath my bed

My bunnies have always looooved being under the bed. I don’t allow them under, as they only get into trouble (Bunston found a way to climb up INTO the box spring where my cat had torn a hole in the fabric… yeeesh), but I think they love it because it feels like a safe cool spot to explore. Much like a burrow

If you don’t want her going under, you can use NIC cube grids to block it off, and then give her some extra hidey boxes and tunnels so she isn’t too sad about it.

I think there are certain spots where bunnies love to be. Whenever I bring my bunny inside, she always runs to the couch and jumps up on the back pillow. I think she likes being in the highest place possible because she thinks she’s a queen

Bunnies love any place that is natural to them (like an underground burrow). My bunny loves my kid’s play tunnel. She has so much fun zooming and lounging in there. Cardboard boxes, turned upside down with a door and window cut out are big favorites for a lot of bunnies.

Most likely because it feels safe under the bed? If I imagine myself as a bunny I think I’d like going under the bed too

It could also be that since she’s quite new to the house, she prefers spots that have a hidey factor to it. Depending on personality, some bunnies will only start laying in open spaces once they get more used to the environment.

She does lay in open spaces a lot. She probably likes how big under the bed is, a giant hidey house for her. She is so sweet and good.. I accidentally left her cage open one night and she didn’t chew up any cords.. but she did leave little poops on the couch lol. She must’ve had a blast.
