  Hi.
  
  I give my two bunnies A LOT of veggies. They get two cups a day of a variety. They never seem to get enough. I’m preparing bags for the sitter since I’m going on vacation. Am i giving them too much?

  Not in my opinion. My rabbits getting a very healthy amount each day.

  not really I would say. 2 cups per rabbit is just perfect and I am sure it makes for some happy munching!

  oh thanks! seeing their daily portion put in one bag was a shock. i don’t think i could eat so much. they seem to love it and still eat their hay and pellets.

  I don’t think you’re giving too much! My buns eat their own body volume in veggies every day. I usually buy 5-6 heads of lettuce and 4 bunches of parsley a week for two rabbits.

  ^^^El, You must have big heads of lettuce… Max and Mead share about 8-10 heads per week, 4 bunches of parsley, and a healthy amount of whatever else we buy. I would say they get between 3-4 cups per day, per bunny.
  
  2 cups is the minimum amount that’s recommended. I think you’re fine with what you’re feeding.

  Yeah, in the summer the romaines are huge! Now in the winter we end up buying 5-6, then going back to the store halfway through the week to pick up a few more. Unfortunately they cost more *and* are smaller in the winter 🙁 We also used less in the summer because we were getting veggies through a produce share from a farm – the bunnies got all of the radish/beet tops and other greens we didn’t want to eat, so we didn’t need as much lettuce (only bought 4 a week)
