Hi, new to this forum and needing some help please. I have a dwarf cross, spayed female (Lola) 20 months old and recently bonded her with a 6 month neutered male mini lop (Little Bun). The bonding process took time but worked out well. Lola was really easy to litter train and we have never had any ‘accidents’. After they started sharing the same area, she started to leave a few poops around but I figured this was just her way of marking her territory around the newcomer but the amount of poops outside the boxes have increased ten fold. In fact, she has started to leave piles right next to the litter boxes. 2 weeks ago we moved house and the same behaviour has continued. Piles of poops outside the litter trays and this week she has started to urinate outside the trays too. She still uses the trays because I have seen her but will lift her tail and pee in other places too. She has a huge area to run around and a large open cage where I keep one of the trays. I walked in to check on her this morning nd there was a big puddle in the middle of the cage! This is the first time she has ever urinated outside of her litter box since I first started training. I have all her boxes, blankets and rugs from the old house in her new area. There is no other obvious health problems, eating etc ok, and she is definately in love with Little Bun. I’ve tried confining her to a smaller space without success. Ideas anyone???
