I’ve called various places and can’t find it or any leads.  So if you are in this area, including neighboring states to the SW and know of vets that carry it (so that I can avoid a 4 hour drive), please let me know

Not sure if you’ve come across this already, but the HRN keeps a list of vets with the vaccine: https://rabbitors.info/us-rabbit-resources/us-rhdv2-vaccination-resources/

If that fails, my next step would be to reach out to rescue orgs in your area. They may be working on vaccine clinics, or may know of vets who either have it or are willing to order it.

That’s very helpful. Still really far away.

I don’t see anything on that page about yearly booster shots, do you know if that’s no longer considered necessary?

The yearly booster is still recommended for the Medgene vaccine, not sure why they don’t have that up there!
