Luna has been eating and drinking normally.

Should I keep feeding her the pellet slurry?

And shes been hopping around, thumping and her normal things.

What can I do to keep her feeling better like she is?

Hers your update in the fur, she was sitting in the drawer of my desk while I was on the computer, she never moves from that spot or het little easter basket

Awww great news!! If she’s for sure eating, then you probably don’t have to torture yourself with feeding the slurry. Cute pic!!

so cute!!! What a great idea – having a bunny in the computer desk drawer.

Not an expert, but maybe she could decide for you. Give her a quarter cup of pellets in a dish and see if she eats it normally. If not, go back to the slurry a bit longer. Also make sure she’s drinking her water enough if you go back to pellets now. I forget – did you have to put meds in the slurry?

Try the pellets and see if she will eat them at rabbitpam suggested.

Also keep giving her the antibiotics as prescribed – it is possible she did have an infection so keep using those as instructed.

                She’s a pretty little rabbit.

Slurry is just a makeshift solution, basically mushed up food pellets with water, and then you force feed it with a syringe. I say makeshift because there is a product called ‘critical care’ and it’s a powder, alot like pellets, but more fortified, that you add water to and force feed

Yay Luna! I’m so glad she is feeling better. I would stop the slurry and see how she takes to “regular” food now. Has she been checked for spurs on her molars?
