  Awe that is so cute! I’m not sure why, but I think it is a space issue. I’ll check with BB and have her pop in with an answer.

  ADEE – those are great! Fun. Regarding not allowing animated avatars – when a bunch of people start doing it then I find the page to be just distracting. I have visited forums that allow it and I feel like I am in a noisy playground. It’s fun, and lots of positive goofy energy, (and I love that) but after awhile, to me, it becomes constant visual noise. Like right now as I’m writing my response, I keep seeing the blinkies out of the corner of my eye, and my brain just wants to look at it. Call me an old fogey, but it’s just a way to keep things focused on the posts.
  
  If enough people, as a majority, request this, it may be something I would possibly consider in the future.

  I agree about too many animations becoming distracting though. Especially on a part of the website where people are mainly reading. Eventually those sites start to look like Times Square or Tokyo or something – fun to visit, but not a great place to read.

  I totally understand why we dont allow animated avatars lol… i just think they are lots of fun Thanks for the compliments everyone
