Finally!! A long weekend!!

 

Whats everyone up to? I had camping plans but the bf didn’t want to go, since we are going away soon…So we have a bbq at the horse shelter tonight (sooo excited) and then volunteering this weekend (sat HS, Sun horse place) and I think I’m going to take Monday off and just play with the bunnies and go ride my horse. Its supposed to be super nice here all weekend-so excited!!

Yep, I work on Saturdays (tomorrow) too. But I’m still part time so I was off today, then on Sunday/Mondays. My museum closed on Sundays for the summer (I worked those for last 2 months), or we’d get long-weekend visitors looking for something to do.

hehe long weekend? damn i want one! im actually off for a week with a sick note from my doctor, so i have been doing nothing at all just lounging around

no camping for this girl this may 2-4 altho it is the tradition and i do love camping

i`ll be planting a bunch of potted perrenials to make my porch & driveway look pretty & trying to tame the wild looking garden in my backyard.  mom gave me a huge bunch of hostas from a friend of our family who was thinning hers out – yay since they`re bloody expensive to buy & it`s what i wanted to plant in my backyard.

i`m also going out dress brides maid shopping today… ick.

Long Weekend!! Yea!!

I was off Friday, but spent the day out and about.  Then did some yard work in the evening.  Today Saturday my only plan is to clean and relax if I can! I work at 3 ,until 8 tonight and then the hubby and I are off to my Fathers house to clean up some junk for a garage sale.  We’ll sleep over there with the boy and be back home in the afternoon on sunday to just hang out at home and get some yard work done.  We bought one of those gazebo’s with the netting and I can’t wait to set it up!

HA! I was off Friday but had a lot of stuff to do. It’s Saturday and I am here at work (obviously working hard ), tomorrow I have a wedding. Moday I am off.

I never really get a true long weekend – I work in television so I am used to having to work weekends and shift work. Oh well, I picked the career, right?

one of the perks of being a teacher, a holiday every six weeks, however working with kids all the time – we bloody need them! lol

Hostas?! LOL Never spend a lot of $ on a Hosta. All you need is a leaf from a cutting and you’ll have a Hosta Forest in a year! They grow like wild fires. Not surprised your friend is thinning hers out. The best thing is that they are full, pretty, and can cover many less-than-perfect spots in the garden. I helped my mother with some years ago. I thought they were kidding when they told us this…

Now that it is summer, I will always get Fridays off until fall. I am sooo glad. Next week, I’ll get a four day weekend. Who hooo. I’ll probably sleep.

Scooter here. Right this moment I’m at Chicago O’Hare airport, on my way to a conference. And I’d better get off binkybunny and get back to putting the Powerpoint presentation for my talk tomorrow together too! Sometimes 5-hour layovers are a GOOD thing!…..
