  I had the money finally and took Lolli had a wellness check last week. She started scratching at her ears and shaking her head a lot last week so it was a good thing. Turns out she has a bacteria infection in both ears. I have baytril drops that I’ve been putting in every night. Needless to say she is NOT my biggest fan right now. lol
  
  My question is this: Her ears look a bit red inside. I let her run around the basement so she gets a good workout. lol So when I go to get her to snuggle and put the drops in, sometimes she’s really hot. I don’t know whether her ears are red cause she’s hot or if they’re red cause she has an infection. We go back to the vet on June 8th. Should I be concerned?
  
  Her behavior and everything has been completely fine. And aside from her ears, she got an excellent checkup! Her eyes are good, her stomach is good. Her teeth are PERFECT!!! I don’t know why but I was so happy to hear that. LOL

  It sounds like the infection still hasn’t cleared up, so her ears are getting red and hot. Since you are already treating her, I’d just call the vet and ask if it’s normal and if you can continue with the treatment. It would be a shame to wait so long if it’s a sign that it’s not working, or if it’s a side effect she should not be getting. You should get an answer over the phone from the vet without needing to make a new appointment.

  I think maybe they’re red from her scratching at them. Because when I got her out later on in the day, her ears were normal. Then I watched her scratch her ears and after that, they looked red. So they aren’t staying constantly red. So I think she’ll be ok until next week. lol
