It’s been, well, 3 weeks since Eddie’s passing and I just wanted to give an update on us. I am doing ok. I still get very sad every so often and will always miss him. I have decided that now is not the best time to get another bunny. Partly because Lolli is doing really good and mainly cause I can’t afford it. So we’re gonna wait for the timing to be right.
Like I said, Lolli is doing really good. Her and I are bonding more. She’s listening better.
She’s also letting me give her more nosepets. Occasionally, she will let me stroke the whole of her – from her nose to her tail. But that is definitely on her terms. She seems…freer. She has changed just not dramatically. I think Eddie’s personality overwhelmed hers so now little things are coming out. She only has me to be social with of course, so I’m noticing I’m getting the butt all the time now. 
She always enjoyed looking out the sliding door, but would only do it for a few seconds and then run to go find Eddie. All this week, she has spent the majority of the day, laying in the sun right next the door. So I’m glad she’s able to enjoy that. They were blocked from my bedroom with a baby gate and on Sunday, I forgot it was open, so she snuck in there. I went to check on her under the bed and was expecting her to stay in all day and night like she used to with Eddie. But after maybe 20 minutes, she came back out to the living room. So she must enjoy being with me. lol So we are bonding. I was snuggling with her one day and she licked me. I am still on medical leave, so I am worried about when I go back to work. I haven’t been gone for 8 hours yet. lol But I need to not worry about that as I have no clue at this point when I’ll go back. lol So that’s pretty much it. She’s really enjoying having the place to herself. But I still think she would like a friend. hehe

I”m glad you are feeling a bit better. I still miss my bunnies that have passed years ago. I will always miss them.
But time does help heal and it looks like bunbuns1 and you are healing together. 
I think waiting is a good idea— Definitely enjoy the time you have and don’t worry too much about the future. Sounds like you and bunbuns1 are turning into a great team, just the two of you right now. I’m sure you will figure out if bringing in another bunny is best, but certainly no rush, especially now that you are getting bunny kisses!
