Dainty loaf
Yess!!! I love bunny loaves!! I’m sure I have pictures of Peppy and Milo loafing somewhere, but here are Tammo and Remi for now:
Grumpy, grumpy loaves of bunny.
Yes, I would like a couple of loaves of bunneh, please.
These aren’t new but I don’t think I’ve posted them all before
PS – need Peppy loafs ASAP, Miss Peppypoo!
I just found this one of Otto – this was the first day we brought him home at 8 weeks. I put him in his cage and he jumped into the litterbox and refused to come out. After a little while I figured out that he was just afraid of the slippery cage floor (I had fleece to put down, but didn’t want to use it until I knew he wouldn’t pee on it). So the poor little guy spent his first hour or so loafed in his litter box until momma figured out how to set up his cage correctly.
Baby loaf
Double loaves
Loaf + flop = cute!
Hannah’s a champion loafer – I never see her sleep in any other position. When she first came to live with us she was obsessed with sleeping on the dining room chairs and I would sneak up and take pictures..
Squeeee @ baby Otto!!!
This, IMO, is the ideal perfect ‘bunny loaf’ – note that this is only my opinion:
1) no paws visible
2) ears tight against the body
3) tail tucked in
4) Head resting so that there is no noticeable transition from the back to the top of the head.
Dono is an expert at this, but I cannot get a picture of him as he only does it in the condo and if I try to open up the cage, he immediately unloafs.
Markbun – it’s funny, but I’ve never seen either of my buns put their heads down to the ground while loafing. Maybe it’s just their body shape? Otto will do it sometimes, but only when he has his feet stretched out behind him.
Hannah’s usually good at the no-feet part – she’s like a little mama hen sitting on her eggs.
Hodari. The last pic was taken the day after we brought her home, late February. The first pic is how she looked just a couple of days ago. She usually stretches out rather than loafs.
Wooly was laying funny today. It was as if he was in a bunny loaf position but then somehow started to deflate because his side was tilting to one side. He was staring at me too while I was laughing. He looked so funny and awkward! I wish I could take pictures. Our batteries won’t hold a charge anymore, I think I need to get new ones.
This is my fav Moosie loaf pic.
Hanging out with Daddy.
Most of you have probably seen this one before.
Ultimate bunny loaf

Momo is pretty good at Loafing, but being an arch breed, she can’t really tuck her head in as well as other bunnies. She always does different things with her ears too. Sometimes flat, other times straight up. I love when she is “right-angle rabbit” with one straight up and the other flat to her back. I will have to get some pic of her. She tends to hop up for attention (or craisins) any time I am near her pen.
It’s hard to catch mine in a loaf, Pringles is about the only one that doesn’t run when she hears the camera turn on
Wow x) these are all so great! I think that chacha wins the contest for looking indignant, though. x)!
Silly Sungura,
Oh my your bun is precious!! Where do you live so I can sneak over and bunny nap her?! hehe
My daughter was able to catch her (finally) loafing. She is a pretty cute “loafer” but I am a bit partial
kral, my head exploded. is your bunny half lionhead, half lop? i see a fluffy front
Zombie, Chacha laughs.. evil like
Thank you for the compliment, luvmyhunybunny. You’d better be super stealthy if you plan on stealing her, though!
I snapped two more pics of her loafing this weekend. Wanted to share:
This one almost meets Markbun’s criteria. Pardon the dirty whiskers. She’d just eaten her salad.
And here she’s doing the one ear up pose!

I showed my fiance these pictures and he decided Chacha was smug enough to be supreme rabbit diety xD
I agree! I saw a picture joke about a bunny loaf saying “Now I’m ready to infiltrate the bread factory!!” with a brown loafed bunny. I think it’s easy to find on google.
@cactuspancake, the one you’re talking about is on the first page of this thread.
Pixie with one ear up, one ear down, and probably sneaking a snack.
Top view of Pixie while she’s playing in her play pen.
Closer view.
Close up and side view.
I’ll have more tomorrow.
Prediction: Pixie will be stolen by me!!!!
Pringles was our first, we got her from the feed store (didn’t know any better then), they were tiny and the guy told us she was a miniature dwarf polish netherland…..HAHAHHAHAHAHAH to all of THAT, including the ‘miniature dwarf” part.
here’s Charlie loafing with his special fluffy friend who does a pretty good loaf.

Aww, not my Pixie!! :] This made me smile endlessly though. <3
I have pictures of them when I had them together on my futon meatloafing beside one another. So Aria and Pixie the double meatloaf (from above). Of course, I only had them together for a short time seeing as how one of them peed on the futon, and it was a temp thing until we could figure out a little bit of how we were going to do their cages (but since we took the futon out the room it changed some more).
Anyway…
Some more of Pixie that I managed to scrounge up.
She was playing around the room and she meatloafed on top of my foot.
This was from their before set up (with Aria on top) before I had changed it. This was right after I cleaned her cage and she made sure to pee in her litter box before she meatloafed. This is absolutely her favorite place to meatloaf, by the way, this and her litter box.
This was when I posted pictures of their set ups. I had her cage shut simply because she would have escaped otherwise and I didn’t have the room bunny proofed at the time. She always gets the run of the room first since she’s the boss.
BABY MEATLOAF! From an unfortunate low angle. But she was meatloafing in her first ever make shift litter box when she was a baby (well, she was three months, but still).
It’s difficult to catch a picture of Aria doing a meatloaf because she prefers to flop and lay there all sprawled out… Definitely not a meatloaf, BUT she does meatloaf during thunderstorms in her favorite little corner (I never could get a picture because as soon as I’d open her cage door — since I didn’t want either of them out during the storm — she would run to me, so)… I’ll see what I’ve got.
Powder loaf!
Aria said she wanted to spread some of her loaf around (and Pixie managed to troll her way into one of them).
On the futon (it seems both my buns really love this futon, so I couldn’t part with it like I had planned — just moved it out the room for more space).
With Momma on the futon (I just realized that she was poking out her tongue in this shot, yay!)
The burying her face loaf.
I hate her cage set up right now, but I’m working on fixing it up so it’s better for her feets — and then I can start on official litter training.
Pixie trolling Aria’s moment of loafing next to her frozen water bottle in a sock. It was Pixie’s time to romp around the bunny proofed room; and Pixie felt like trolling.
AHHH! I could just skim through these pictures all day! <3!

Here’s Dustor in a loaf in his hylon bed tunnel – his favorite place to loaf! I love when he puts his little sooty feet out with their little cream bottoms!
Here’s Petie in a loat:
They’re beautiful, Kay!
Thank you. Yours are beautiful also!
Such pretty bunnies! I think my eyes are going to pop out from such prettiness.
Squirrel is like a less poofy, floppy ear version of Dustor So cute!
I had to post yesterday’s DR for those who haven’t seen it:
Haha! I was just coming to post that LPT! I love it!!!!!
Pull-Apart Loaf.
I hadn’t thought of that, Monkeybun…I think you got something there! lol
Ha ha, I love contestant on the left’s mouth in the pull-apart loaf photo! Ir made me chuckle~
Thanks for all the compliments from Dustor and Petie, they think all the buns here are handsome~
By the way, Monkeybun how about a picture of Squirrel to bear out your description? Loafing?
Gabby loaf with a side of Thumper legs.
