Hi guys, so my one year old spayed female, Maple, has been litter trained for about 6 months now. She has a cage but is free roam, cage is always open. She has a new brother, Moose, who is not neutered yet and not trained yet. This is sort of a new problem but Maple the trained female has been going outside of her cage now. She still does go inside too, but keeps going outside as well, large piles. I know it has to deal with her brother who seems to be ready for a snipping soon, but until then is there anything I should do to keep her from marking her territory? She’s healthy, it has to be because of her brother. The spot she likes to poop is sort of in a corner right by her brother’s cage. My only thought so far is just moving his cage to where she has been pooping. Any other suggestions? Thank you!

Can you move her litter box to the corner she is pooping in? Unfortunately, you might just have to wait this out until he is neutered.
