  I have two beautiful rabbits named Asterlix and Oberlix. They are sisters and love each other very much. So much so that they like to eat together and share a litterbox. However, I have yet to find a litterbox that will accommodate both of them, as well as their hay (we have limited space in our room for other accessories like a hay-feeder). They have a hard time turning around with both of them inside and usually they have to hop over each other to change positions. We have tried two litterboxes (Oberlix had surgery so she had to be isolated), but they always used the same one, just alternated between the two.
  
  Is there any litterbox alternatives, because I doubt I will find a cat litterbox that will be large enough. I have considered getting a storage container, but it would be too tall for them and cutting it will leave harsh edges that would hurt them. Any solutions? Thanks!

  I would suggest a bus boy tray, there low lipped and quite wide take a look at my picture storage I have a photo of the bandit in his bus boy tray. It’s pretty large for one bunny but good enough for two

  Under bed storage boxes or the base of cages are great for litter trays, large plastic dog beds are great too.

  I use the bottom of the cage I brought her home in. Under bed storage bins without the lids are great options too.

  I actually have a really hard time getting my rabbit to go in his litter box all the time. I put hay in it to try to coax him into going in it and put his fresh droppings back in it to give him the hint lol!!! He doesn’t seem to get it. He is free range rabbit and always goes to the bathroom in his cage that I keep for him to eat drink and go potty in. It is a huge cage so it would be much easier if I could get him to go in his litter box.
