Just wanted to update on the litter training. It’s been going pretty well, we re-organized his cage so that the hay rack is now next to the litter box. He can either sit comfortably in the litter box and stand to eat the hay, or squeeze himself between the litterbox and the wall of the cage and eat from the side, which he sometimes prefers.

A lot of the time he eats from the litterbox though, and his cage is much cleaner now. He now seems to be more comfortable lying on the other side of the cage (the clean side) and we quite often see him lying on the side, which can sometimes be a bit scary though. It rarely happens that he poops when he’s outside his cage. Sometimes when we’re cleaning his cage and he’s loose, we put new newspapers in his litterbox (we put a little hay there too) he jumps in and poops shortly after – like he’s been holding it in. I’m proud of him

I love pictures of a bunny flop! It is such a cute picture, you have there. Mine never does this. Karl used to before we got the others, but since then I have never seen him doing it

Good to know that Loppi is getting a hang of good litter habits.

Glad the litter training is going better! What a cute photo! His markings are so so cute! I know what you mean about flops! The first time I saw one I thought Indy was dead and poked him! Silly me the newbie bun owner!
