Pssh. Sunny is so content on angering me.

I’ve been *trying* to litter train her. She isn’t spayed, [but soon will be, soon meaning the next few weeks] and I know that would make this a breeze.

I try and pet her everytime I see her in the litter tray or treat her, but, that’s the thing. She’s never in it -_-.

Now, she’ll pee just fine. But poo is everyyywhere!

Is there anyway to help her? I try and give her a hint by putting her poop in there, but she just ignores it. The only time SHE’LL actually poop in it is if I set her in there while she’s eating, so the poop just falls. That’s pitiful LOL!

I’d appreciate some help..idk what to do.

        Thanks!

Do you have hay in her box? I would put hay in there and make her litter box the only place that eating hay is possible – she should only be able to reach it if she’s in the box. Depending on your cage set up, you might also be able to get a pellet dish that you can hang off the lip of the litter box. I wouldn’t put the dish on the ground in case she peed in it, but if you can get it up off the ground it will force her to do all of her eating in the litter box.

I’ve tried the hay-in-the-box thing, and whilte it worked ALOT better than most of my *failed* methods, it seemed like she was peeing on more than she was eating. But! That reminds of something. Idk why I never thought of it, but I have an old rabbit-hay tray that hooks on the outside from when we first got her. Pshh silly me. I’ll put it above her box.

Let us know if the hay rack position helped.
