Alright Im not good at potty training children more less a bunny LOL… Radar pees in the litter box but WONT poop in it. I keep his cage pretty clean putting the poop in the litter box every chance I get and what do you think he does he kicks the poop out of the litter box HA he is funny uhhh? So is there a way to get him to stop that?

is he actually pooping outside the box or just kicking it out? are there piles of poops in the cage, or just a stray one here and there? the most important thing is the pee, if he’s keeping it in the box, that is great! some buns will always leave poops here and there. this might also happen if there are other animals around. also, is he neutered and if so, how long ago?

I just got my bunny and I was using litter in the box and a different fluff(that’s what I call it. It’s really bedding) in the bottom of his crate. He would P in the box but leave little poops around his crate. I stopped using the other fluff on the bottom of his crate and now there are only a few hard poops around the crate. He’s doing well. Good luck! Hope I helped a little this is my1st reply.

Thanks both of you for your advice. I did have seperate bedding on the bottom and I got rid of it and yes that did help I would have never guessed.  He pees in the litter box and occasionally poops outside of it or he kicks it out when it gets to dirty I clean the litter box out every other morning or sooner if needed. It is really nice having him litter trained.
